Ok all you Utah people. I have been gone for 4 years and I guess I wasn't really paying attention before then. My aunt is in town and taking pictures for me, sorry guys but she's free. (Just know that I still love and am amazed by all you photographers talents!)
Any way I'm supposed to pick where we are going today and I don't have any idea? So my questions is where do you girls like to go to get pictures taken of your kids or to take pictures of people's kids? I'm talking outside here. Any comments would be much appreciated!
I love you!

a fun saturday night!!
I thought I would share a little fun I had the last saturday night. Tachi and I both are Tooelen's now. We got together and had a good time chatting it up and eating some good grub on their new bbq. Tachi's little guy, Hayden, is so adorable. He is 11 months and she swears that he started walking more while my kids were around him on saturday. Hes a fast learner for sure!! I actually got to babysit him awhile ago and that was a fun time for Mayley. I loved when Tachi said "You can tell who is and who isn't from Tooele when you go to church!" and I said AMEN sista! It's pretty funny place to live but both of our houses are fun to live in and I guess thats what counts for now. I'm just glad that for Oakcrest friends!! You ladies are some of my favorite friends and I wish we could do more together!! Tachi is doing wonderful and she is so happy!! Yay for Oakcrest friends! I love all of you tons! :)

Pre K
Ok so my next question is about preK. L has been accepted to our local schools program even though she is only 3 (not enough 4 year olds). I am having mixed emotions because:
1- she is my baby
2- it is 1/2 day 12 to 3 right in the middle of the day and she still naps.
3- It is a huge time commitment
How do you all feel about pre k?
Does it make me a bad mom that I want her to go?
Do you think she will learn anything?

Gardens
For those of you who garden I just wanted to know how things are going?
Mine is OK.
We have had a million green beans.
Almost lost our Zucchini but killed off the bugs.
The tomatoes are just starting to set on which is fun.
The peppers are there but they are small, but still they are there.
I have been canning pickles and beans and will start on tomato product soon.
Does anyone have a good relish recipe?
I miss everyone posting. Things must be busy for all.

Hey so I was thinking I should put the Oakcrest soundtrack on a playlist for our blog. Problem, I don't have it. Can someone list the songs so I can make it? Thanks~

RS Instructor
Ok, So I was just called as a RS instructor! This is one of the callings that scare me half to death! I even contemplating saying no. But decided I would be cursed if I did! However I am so scared! They asked me to substitute once a few months ago, and I did an AWFUL job. Now, most people think that I am being modest. No I am not, I am not exaggerating either. It was so bad. With 20 minutes left, I basically was finished with my lesson. During the lesson, some lady mentioned that I was doing a good job for my first time. (that shows how bad it was-During the lesson!) So, if you don't understand yet, This calling is one of the worst callings for me-the only one worse would be Gospel Doctrine teacher. But I would like some help from you guys, who I am sure have al taught wonderful lessons. How do I not get so scared in front of them? Teaching the youth-I can teach like the best of them. Primary-a cinch. During my lesson, I honestly did not feel that the ladies where getting anything from the lesson. So I honestly felt that I would not be called into this, becauseI know that I will learn-but it has to benefit other people as well. Anyways-suggestions?

Cloth diapering
Ok so don't laugh but I am trying this out with norah. With the cost of everything rising and two girls in diapers (lily still sleeps with them on) I have decided that this would be a good thing do experiment with. I bought the diapering stuff for $80 and I am trying it out. So far so good. Today was my first day of just cloth, I put her to bed with a disposible on though because night time diapering is a hard thing to master and I am not that into it. I am just wondering if any of you have/thought of doing this with your children?

Tink update
Here's a little update on the Tink Call family. Mike and I have now been married for 6 1/2 years. Maggie is 4 and Chadley Lynn is 16 months.
We were in Connecticut for Mike's art school. We loved it there. It was beautiful and Leko even came to visit!
But we just moved from Connecticut to Bountiful, UT in May. Mike was done with school and I still have a lot of school left so we decided to be by family to get some help with the girls. We love our house. We have a great landlord and our own yard hooray!
Mike is working for a window company putting in high end windows. So he gets to go to the church office building and all over the northern part of the state. The owner is LDS, so it's a pretty good work environment. We are so grateful for this opportunity. It also allows him to work a little bit on his art at night. If you want to see his boyscout slides or other sculpture check out www.mikecallfineart.com
I am getting my degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. I have been stuck at my computer for the past two months trying to get caught up with school, so that's why it has taken me so long to write. But I'm doing a lot better now and I have also updated my blog. If you need an invite leave your email or email me at brookehv@gmail.com. I know it's a pain, and I'm thinking of going public, but for now it's private so you need an invitation to view it.
I had such fun seeing some of you at the Oakcrest Reunion. It was so great to be able to be there for it. I love you and miss you guys.
